You shouldn't automatically assume they're male though. The costumes are usually made gender neutral so you can't actually tell. I'm just saying, seeing a woman in a grunt costume shouldn't come as a surprise or be funny.

When I look at a Golem, let's say, I imagine a man in the costume. When I see a female monster costume, I imagine a woman inside. Whether it is or not in either case doesn't matter; that's the perception. Perhaps you shouldn't jump the gun with accusations.

There's nothing wrong with men or women in the costumes even if they're of the opposite genders...they're trained in action and in acting, and fully covered anyway.
I do know there are several male JAE suitactors known(trained?specialised?) to play a lot of female rangers/monsters though, since there are not as many females in this line of work. (Like Hachisuga Yuuichi, who is currently portraying Izayoi Kyuemon in Ninninger)

The ending dance scene in Kakuranger definitely seemed mostly women to me.

Also, most of KyoryuViolet's suit actresses' work was as a grunt.

I definitely recall noticing a few distinctly feminine silhouettes amongst the grunts when I was watching Go-Busters.

No saying "women have no place doing those roles" is a sexist comment.

I don't think the dad will be a Ninninger.

It seems the next episode will be written by Nobuhiro Mouri who did the Gaim filler and given the main writer Kento Shimoyama writing almost all the episodes, this almost seems to be a dead-end plot and not the beginning of something important.

I hate to mention this, but he looks like the Samurai Red Shogun mode from Power Rangers.

Both of them are based off of traditional Shogun armour but only their bottom halves are kind of similar in appearance. The top halves look nothing alike. Chouzetsu is way better than the monstrous Shogun Mode...

Better, yes, and definitely more original than last year. However, I thought it would look better from that original picture we got...

Odd. That usually happens the other way around...:redface2:

Any rumors that sounds like it is going to make this show good? It started out good, got a little repetitive, then got good again for 3 episodes, and now it has been boring as all hell. Like Go-Buster boring, especially since the latest general came in.

I found this show to be utter garbage (like Kyoryuger, except it's MUCH worse IMO)!
While I did enjoyed last episode (that was not written by Shimoyama) to be pretty decent, I still find this to be pretty terrible show.
The premiere felt very rushed, the characters are extremely poorly written (especially, Takaharu (or Bakaharu), story that has so much wasted potential, useless mentor (that makes Gosei from Megaforce looks like greatest mentor ever existed (lol!), pretty forgettable and lackluster villains (WTF wrong with their face?), and tons of other problems that makes it terrible.
It's really depressing since I had high hopes for this show, since it's going be written by Shimoyama, who has few experience with writing episodes, specials, and movies for sentai (my personal favorites include, Shinken vs. Gosei, few Go-busters episodes, Go-busters Returns (his best work IMO!)).
I guess writing the whole series as main writer, just doesn't work for him.
It also doesn't help the fact Naomi Takebe is a chief producer; despite her previous work for Gaim was successful.

Speaking of Takabe, despite her reputation for poorly received series (Kiva, Go-busters), I never saw her as a bad producer.
I personally think she's a decent producer who's at least trying, but tends to makes a lot of mistakes and execution doesn't turn out well most of the time.
But for this series, she isn't even trying time and it might be her absolute worst IMO.

Few "good" thing I can say about the series is I like the ED and dance (better than Kyoryuger IMO) and mecha action is pretty nice (which almost reminds me of Go-busters).
I really hate to say this, but at this rate, this series might replace Kyoryuger as my all-time least favorite sentai (and tokusatu) series; which I never thought I would ever say this.
(...seriously, I rather watch Tzachor seasons (PR Samurai~Super Megaforce) than this mess. lol.)

I already knew this show was going to suck from the moment she was announced as the producer. it was a good decision to have stopped watching this. I hated Go-Busters and Kyoryuger as much as you do, but they're starting to look more decent compared to Ninninger.

I thought people's main criticisms of Takebe as a producer were that she likes to play up any element of the show that becomes popular (no matter how stupid/pointless it is) and prefers not to challenge Toei or the head writer, even when their ideas are really bad?

While I like Ninninger, part of Go-Busters's problem seems to be that Takebe and Toei thought they could approach the show like a Kamen Rider series and have it be a hit (which didn't work.) Now that she's been given another chance on Sentai, she's sticking to a formula, which is the "safest" route to avoid another flop but irritates anyone who would like to see the franchise change things up

Wow, that explains why there is a sudden need to have long drawn out boring mech battle stuff going on in these last few episodes.

I guess it is time to just go out and finally watch GUIS' Kakuranger subs since I haven't had the time to watch the whole thing subbed because Ninninger is never going to do something new.
